How to set up Anthropic spend limit

Start here, signed in on platform.claude.com.
Footgun fills in:
- Monthly spend limit in dollars
- Sign in to the organization you want to cap. Under Organization limit you will see your current monthly spend limit. Click Adjust limit.
- In the Edit spend limit box, type your monthly limit in dollars, with no $ sign.
- Monthly spend limit: [Monthly spend limit in dollars]
- Click Set limit.
- Optional: click Add notification to get an email as you approach the limit, and follow the prompts.
- Footgun cannot read this setting back, so the result is shown as not checked. Reload the page and confirm the Monthly spend limit now shows your amount.
Let Claude Code fill it in
Ask Claude Code to set this up. Footgun opens the right page, shows your app’s addresses with Copy buttons, and checks the result where the provider allows it. You make every change yourself.
