How to get a Unsplash API key

  1. Open Your apps on Unsplash Developers, signed in to Unsplash, and click New Application.
  2. Read and tick the four API Use and Guidelines boxes, click Accept terms, then give the app a name and description and create it.
  3. Your app page opens with Keys. Footgun offers the Access Key first; save that one and skip the Secret Key, which only matters for user sign-in. New apps start in Demo mode, limited to 50 requests an hour.
