How to get a Vercel API key

  1. Under Create Token, type a name for the token in Token Name.
  2. Open Scope.
  3. Pick the team the token is for, or your personal account if you have no team.
  4. Pick All Projects, or one project to limit the token to it.
  5. Pick an expiration under Expiration. A shorter one is safer; you can always make a new token.
  6. Click Create. If Vercel asks you to reauthenticate, send the code to your email and enter it. The token is shown only once, in the box that opens.
