Edits to a local Claude Code plugin never show up

The plugin behaves like the old version after editing its source

Cause

Claude Code runs a frozen copy from ~/.claude/plugins/cache/{marketplace}/{plugin}/{version}/, not the source folder. Without a version bump the cache is never refreshed.

Fix

Bump the version in .claude-plugin/plugin.json, update the marketplace and the plugin, then restart or reload plugins.

Apply

claude plugin marketplace update <marketplace> && claude plugin update <plugin>@<marketplace>
