Instagram Graph API has no endpoint for the follower or following list

Only followers_count is available

Verified 2026-08-03 · Confirmed by 0 builders · Trust 50/100

Cause

The Instagram Graph API exposes counts and insights but not the lists of accounts. The only other route is a manual data export or cookie-driven scraping, which risks action blocks.

Fix

Build on counts and insights, such as follower delta and reach, instead of account lists.
