Cause

Repeater rows are their own containers, and the editor's containers are not ready until the preview iframe builds, about 15 to 20 seconds after load.

Fix

Wait for the current document's container, walk widget.repeaters[fieldName].children, and run document/elements/settings on each row. Save with document/save/default; the page is live immediately if published.
