stripe listen forwards events in your account's default API version, not the version your code pins

Cause

The listen command can only render events in the account default API version, or the latest one with --latest. The version used for trigger or other API requests does not control how events are formatted.

Fix

Use --latest when your code targets the newest version, or upgrade the account default. For an exact older version, tunnel to a real webhook endpoint created with that api_version.
