Cause

Twilio retired the free Email API and Marketing Campaigns plans starting 2025-05-27, kept them working for 60 days, then paused sending on free accounts. Free accounts with more than 100 stored contacts had all contacts deleted.

Fix

Move production senders to a paid Email API plan, and do not build new projects on a SendGrid free tier that no longer exists.

Apply

SendGrid console > Settings > Account Details > Your Products > Email API > Change Plan

Affects: SendGrid free Email API and free Marketing Campaigns plans, retired from 2025-05-27 with sending paused about 60 days later
