Cause

Fable 5 and 5.1 need provider-side data retention, which falls outside Cursor's zero retention agreements. For Enterprise customers and anyone with Privacy Mode on, requests fail until an admin approves the model's retention policy; requests that trip a Fable guardrail are rerouted to Opus.

Fix

Have an admin approve the model on the dashboard restricted models page, which applies to the whole team, or pick another model.
