Formula with an escaped quote passes validation but fails at run time

BlueprintValidationError: Scenario validation failed - 2 problem(s)

Verified 2026-09-30 · Confirmed by 0 builders · Trust 50/100

Cause

Make formula string literals have no escape characters. A backslash before a quote does not produce a quote; the quote ends the string and the formula cannot be parsed. Static validation does not catch it, only a live run does.

Fix

Keep quote characters out of formula strings. To match text that contains quotes, use a regex with \W or . where the quote would be.

Apply

Regex pattern intent\W+([a-z]+) instead of a pattern that contains an escaped quote.
