hubspot-api-client raises AttributeError: 'HTTPResponse' object has no attribute 'getheader'
AttributeError: 'HTTPResponse' object has no attribute 'getheader'
Verified 2026-10-15 · Confirmed by 0 builders · Trust 50/100
Cause
The generated Python client calls HTTPResponse.getheader, which urllib3 2.6.0 removed. urllib3 2.6.1 restored it, so only that one release breaks the client.
Fix
Exclude urllib3 2.6.0 in your requirements and upgrade to 2.6.1 or later.
Apply
pip install "urllib3>=2.6.1"
Affects: hubspot-api-client 12.0.0 and earlier with urllib3 2.6.0 (released 2025-12-05)
