Resend Audiences calls and audienceId still work but are deprecated in favor of Segments

Symptom

Docs and SDK types say segments where existing code says audiencescontacts.create with audienceId produces overload type errors after an SDK upgradeAudiences endpoint pages carry a deprecation warning

Cause

In November 2025 Resend made contacts independent of groups and renamed Audiences to Segments. The Audiences API is deprecated and will be removed, and contacts endpoints no longer need an audience id.

Fix

Create contacts without an audience id, attach them to segments, and move broadcast targeting from audiences to segments.
