Cause

On the Free plan every to, cc, and bcc recipient counts as one email, received emails count too, and the 100 per day quota runs on the UTC calendar day.

Fix

Count recipients, not API calls, read the x-resend-daily-quota header, and move to a paid plan before production traffic.
