Cause

DEFAULT_REQUEST_TIMEOUT_MSEC is 60,000 ms, and progress resets the timer only when resetTimeoutOnProgress is set, and on the low-level request() only when an onprogress callback is passed too.

Fix

Pass a larger timeout per call, set resetTimeoutOnProgress with an onprogress handler, and cap the total with maxTotalTimeout.
